Dwayne J. Platzke, MSPT has been a licensed therapist for over 13 years and joined Tidewater Physical Therapy in 1994. He is Clinical Director of our Cambridge Maryland Clinic.

He earned his Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) degree from Delaware Technical and Community College, Georgetown, Delaware in 1996 and earned his Masters of Science Physical Therapist (MSPT) from Neumann College, Aston, PA. in 2005.

Mr. Platzke specializes in orthopedics, back pain and dysfunction, shoulder pain and dysfunction, and pediatric Physical Therapy. He has practiced in a multitude of settings including; outpatient therapy, home therapy, SNF, and school rehabilitation. He is the Physical Therapist for the Laurel Delaware School District.

He also carries a certification as a strength training specialist from the International Weight-lifting Association and has coached many youth sports including, baseball/softball, football, soccer, and lacrosse.
